House Hockey

Sting's House Hockey Program is for ages 9 to 14 and offers skaters a fun and engaging way to develop their hockey skills. Designed for both beginners and intermediate players, the program focuses on fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a supportive environment. All practices and games are held locally, making it an accessible option for families. Whether your child is new to hockey or looking to continue their development, the Sting's House Hockey Program provides a structured yet relaxed atmosphere where they can enjoy the game and build confidence.

"Our House Hockey program includes skaters aged 9 to 14. During the first two weeks, skaters will take part in four assessment sessions to evaluate their skill levels. This evaluation will assist us in assigning each player to a team that will best support their development."

All skaters must register with USA Hockey before skating on the ice, as required by Mass Hockey.

Shortly after completing the USA Hockey registration, you will receive a confirmation email containing your child's USA Hockey Confirmation Number.

You will need your child's USA Hockey Confirmation Number when enrolling in any Sting programs.

Please remember that all skaters must register with USA Hockey before stepping or skating on the ice.

No exceptions will be made.

Each player is personally responsible to wear protective equipment for all games, warm-ups and practices. Such equipment should include gloves, shin pads, shoulder pads, elbow pads, hip pads or padded hockey pants, protective cup, tendon pads, neck guard, plus all head protective equipment as required by USA Hockey rules. It is recommended that all protective equipment be designed specifically for ice hockey.

All protective equipment, except gloves, padded hockey pants, helmet/facemask, and goalkeeper’s leg guards, must be worn under the uniform.
